The Platform is provided for educational assistance only. We make no representations or guarantees regarding:

  • Improvement in grades, GPA, or academic performance
  • Acceptance or approval of submitted work by any institution
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of feedback

All academic outcomes are solely dependent on the user and external evaluation standards beyond our control.

4. Academic Integrity and Misconduct

You agree not to use the Platform to engage in or facilitate:

  • Plagiarism or submission of non-original work
  • Academic dishonesty or cheating
  • Violations of institutional policies

The Platform is intended to support learning -- not replace original work. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with your institution's academic integrity policies.

5. AI and Automated Systems Disclaimer

The Platform uses artificial intelligence and automated systems which may:

  • Produce incorrect, incomplete, or misleading feedback
  • Misinterpret context, subject matter, or academic standards
  • Provide suggestions that are inappropriate or outdated

You acknowledge that all outputs require independent review and verification.

6. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • All content you submit or generate
  • How you use Platform outputs
  • Any academic, legal, or professional consequences arising from use

7. Intellectual Property

We retain all rights to the Platform and its underlying technology.

You retain ownership of your submitted content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and analyze such content to operate, improve, and develop the Platform.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
  • Upload harmful, infringing, or malicious content
  • Interfere with security or functionality

9. Beta Features Disclaimer

Certain features may be labeled as "beta," "experimental," or similar. These features are provided without any warranties and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

10. DMCA and Copyright Compliance

If you believe content infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice including:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work
  • Identification of the infringing material
  • Contact information
  • A statement of good faith belief

We reserve the right to remove allegedly infringing content.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts paid by you in the last 12 months or (b) $100

  • Your content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of academic or institutional policies

13. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in North Carolina.

You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
