You may have done well in other subjects, but math seemed difficult. You are not alone. Your student may be in the same situation. According to current research, six out of ten university students have math anxiety.
You can keep your child from being a part of that 60%.
As an educator, for years I have heard parents bemoaning the fact that helping their children with their math homework is a frustrating experience, and is often a source of family disputes. With the advent of new State Standards the situation has gotten worse. Not only do most parents feel more inadequate, but now the math instruction has changed so drastically that even those who felt comfortable are doubting their ability to help their children. The way they learned math is not the way it is taught today.
Our new courses are designed to help this situation. EZ Writing Math gives parents clear explanations and examples of exactly what the teachers and the state are asking of the students. There are eight different courses covering a variety of math subjects. Each course is projected to be completed in two weeks. However, students can work at their own pace. Each lesson builds upon the previous ones so students (and parents) can be successful. You can choose any single course, or complete all eight. It’s your decision.
Don’t wait! The year is moving quickly. The sooner you help your child the less math anxiety he/she will endure.
